My favorite wine in the world since my first sip is Amarone de Valpolicella. There is something that resonates in my soul with these wines. Perhaps its the drying and crushing...the delayed satisfaction....the waiting, the anticipation...the intensity of flavor and aroma...it all just seems a lot like life to me. Below you will find ramblings spread about like those grapes drying in those breezy attics around Verona's ancient hills. I hope a few clusters will make some great wine one day...
